When buying our new couch I knew we would need end tables. Our sectional didn’t leave much room for end tables where the new one has lots of room on each side. I bought a old typewriter table to use on one side. It was originally gray and I thought I was going to leave it that color. Ryan convinced me to step our of my comfort zone and paint it a brighter color. He thought the gray blended in too much with everything else we had in the living room. We decided to paint it yellow Rust-Oleum Sunset Glow to be exact. I was nervous to start painting it but knew if I didn’t like the color I could easily paint over it. Once placed in the living room the color went perfectly with everything else.
The other end table is made from an old floor jack stand and a round piece of wood from Lowes. Ryan found our how to attach the wood table top to the jack stand. I stained the top with Minwax Espresso Stain. I think it is the perfect addition to our living room. Here is a before and after picture.
End tables don’t always have to match each other are ae the perfect place to add personality to your room .
